This course examines classic philosophical categories such as epistemology, ethics, personhood, ontology, et. al. Each unit presentation begins with some diverse views from philosophy around the planet and across eras and ends with applications for thinking about how they apply to AI.

How did one clever ape become a planet-shaping species? The PowerPoints in this course contain MUCH more data than in Harari's book on which the course is based, especially data on Denisovans. What did civilization give us? What did it cost us? And what kind of humans are we becoming now?
