Interview Recap
my interview with fullerton fire department for ambulance operator job was pretty straightforward. I brought a portfolio that carried copies of my resume and cover letters to pass out to each member of the panel. My panel consisted of a Fire Captain a Fire fighter and an ambulance operator. I wore a full suit which I would recommend for any interview and I believe is what is expected for an interview with a department.
As as far as the questions, the first one was tell us about yourself and how your training education and experience has prepared you for this position. The next question was what is your biggest weakness and how do you think that will interfere with the job? (Not the exact wording but very similar). Next was a situational question which was if you came in the next day on shift and there was damage to the ambulance but the crew before did not report anything how would you go about that situation? Another question was what I was hoping to get out of this position. And then finally was just about part-time and full-time and if I was open to either as well as talking about future steps in what I’m currently doing.
