New here? Doing your inburgering and not sure where to begin? You're in the right place. Two things to do today, two minutes total: 1. Open the Start Here course (in Classroom). It explains the whole exam in plain English, no Dutch needed. 2. Introduce yourself below. Three lines is enough: - Where are you from, and where do you live now? - Which exam part worries you most? - Why do you need to pass? Not sure how to start? "Hi, I'm ... from ... I'm most worried about ... and I need to pass because ..." Mistakes are welcome here, always. Read one other intro and say hello. That's where a community starts. What's the first thing?
What is the first thing you did this morning? Full sentence, past tense.

How is your Dutch today?
In one Dutch word, how do you feel about your Dutch today? Say it out loud first. Goed? Moe? Onzeker? Trots? Then one line in English about why.

Put your deadline in your phone
Most people have about three years, and the clock runs the whole time. Find your end date and add it to your calendar today. The people who miss deadlines are the ones who never wrote them down.

Check which law applies to you first
Before you study anything, find out if you are under the 2013 or the 2021 law. It changes your level, your route, and your exams. It is in your DUO letter and in Mijn Inburgering. Two minutes now saves months.
