Please make sure that you back your stuff up on Manus so you do not LOOSE IT! There are MAJOR changes happening with Manus and Meta, and if you have been using Manus to create websites, apps, research, documents, tasks, projects, automations or other important business assets, DO NOT assume everything will simply stay there. Here’s the short version: Manus joined Meta on December 29, 2025. That deal is now being unwound and Manus is returning to independent operations. Because of that transition, certain affected Manus user data created on or after December 29, 2025 may have to be deleted during the separation process. ⚠️ PLEASE CHECK YOUR MANUS ACCOUNT AND YOUR EMAIL TODAY. Not every account appears to be affected in exactly the same way, so read the notice Manus gives YOU. WHAT I WOULD DO RIGHT NOW: 1️⃣ Log into Manus. Look for any banner, notification, popup or message concerning your account, backup, data protection or the Meta transition. 2️⃣ Use the Manus backup option if it is offered to your account. Do not wait until the last minute. 3️⃣ Back up your IMPORTANT projects separately too. If you built something you cannot afford to lose, keep another copy outside Manus whenever possible. Think: 💻 Websites 📱 Apps 🤖 Agents 📄 Documents 📊 Research 🧠 Prompts 📁 Project files 🖼️ Images and creative assets 📑 Presentations ⚙️ Workflows 🗃️ Important task outputs 🔑 Business information you would hate to recreate 4️⃣ If your project uses GitHub, make sure your repository is current. Having your code in GitHub gives you another layer of protection instead of your entire project existing on only one AI platform. 5️⃣ Download important deliverables individually when possible. For something REALLY important, I wouldn’t rely on one giant backup file as my only copy. 6️⃣ Save your backups in TWO places.
