I know what it's like to be told your body is the problem before anyone actually looks at what your body is doing. I carry a pacemaker. My resting heart rate is 44 beats per minute. Twice, I entered high-risk pregnancies where C-sections seemed like the expected outcome. Twice, I delivered vaginally. Those experiences taught me: you are the expert on your own body.
High-Risk Advocacy School helps doulas and advocates work alongside people navigating high-risk and medically complex pregnancies with better information, practical advocacy tools, and an understanding of the systems surrounding their care.
Inside, we explore:
✅ What "high risk" means & what questions to ask
✅ Informed consent, shared decision-making & client agency
✅ Finding credible health information
✅ Preparing for appointments & care-team conversations
✅ Protocol, options, scope & advocacy
You don't need all the answers.
Learn to ask better questions, find good information, and keep the person receiving care at the center.
