Welcome to Rise Plus. The Classroom is optional if you already have an idea of who you are and what it is you are about. This is a table of contents with links to the other threads or channels. It’s going to be a permanent pin under General Discussion for quick reference. The Lessons are under the horizontal menu bar, Classrooms. When you complete a lesson, please click the top Right Corner of the window that pops up so it goes green. This helps you keep track of your progress. (See the second picture below.) Clicking Like on other peoples comments and pots helps them gain points which unlocks more content and lessons. Commenting and responding to other people helps Rise Plus gain better ranking in Skool Discovery. 20 Likes are needed to unlock certain Classrooms. Each lesson might have some exercises for us to work on. There will be a link to the relevant thread under Rising (How do I?). Rising (How do I?). This is where questions go. This is also where crafting goes. If you don’t know where something fits, post it there. If you have a WIN or an accomplishment you would like to let us know about, it goes in Thriving, as a response. Everyone deserves an accolade and a pat on their backs for a job well done. Weekly Tarot has a regular post where people can ask for a 1 card tarot reading. Certain rules apply. I will post other tarot card or oracle readings on occasion. This will eventually become a paid feature required a subscription to access. The Grove is about being seen and witnessed. You’re welcome to share something you’re carrying like a realization or a transition you are going through. Short is better. This container does have a format to follow. Please respond to the original post in the link, and do not make a new thread.

I Accidently Took Home That Ghost (Attachment Clearing)
Last night, I was working on a biography for myself on a ghost hunting website. The AI I was using to help with ideas told me to write a post about ghost hunting, and offer that as a link. This was late at night. This is what I came up with. My question to the people in Rise, What are your experiences with ghosts? Imagine getting home at 2 a.m. after an investigation, or exacting adventure with things that are not there. We find out that something from the investigation seems to have followed us. Sleep will not come easily. Our skin may still prickle. Your cat may sit in the doorway and stare at something you cannot see. That does not automatically mean you have an attachment. It does mean that a little clearing before bed can save you a lot of trouble later. During a hunt, a spirit can draw energy from investigators to make noise, move things, or interact with the environment. That energy can mix with the investigator's energy during the contact. Some of the spirit's energy can stay behind on the investigator after the hunt. I call that leftover energy spirit residue. When I am feeling lazy, I call it ectoplasm. Ectoplasm is not really the correct word. It works for this purpose. Older locations can be worse for residue than fresh encounters. An old building can have decades of emotional and spiritual activity tied to it. Death, grief, violence, fear, and repeated paranormal activity can all become part of the atmosphere of a place. Fresh energy tends to clear faster. Energy that has been sitting around for years can be much more stubborn. The problem with a quick cleansing is that energy has to go somewhere. If it gets pulled off the investigator without being directed, there is no reason to assume that it simply disappears. A partner can pick it up. A pet can pick it up. Clothing can pick it up. Bedding can pick it up. That is why I do not like the idea of simply washing something off and calling the job finished. My own routine is simple. I use warm salt water and ordinary table salt. I wash my hands before touching anyone at home. In my practice, the hands have chakras that can hold stagnant energy. The hands are also where a lot of energetic contact happens during an investigation. They are a practical place to start.

Welcome
@Anette Reinke Welcome! Can you tell us where you are from? If you like, can you share one of your favorite memes with us? This a heavy space where we use humor to decompress and poke fun at our selves. One of my very favorite mems is the Grumpy Cat. Entire empires were based on this cats grump.
Welcome
Welcome.
@Amber VanAuken Welcome. If you would like, pick one meme and post it in the comments. Why does this meme bring you joy...or at least help you focus on less stressful things? You are welcome to tell us a bit about urself. I'll post one of my memes too and I'll explain why I like it.

Often, people can't stay focused because they haven't taken the time to clear out their unique versions of distractions. Some people focus well listening to music, or next to an open window. Others hate such things and find themselves unable to pay attention. This exercise teaches you: - Which research-backed triggers work for YOUR brain - What helps you lock in and stay there - How to build a reliable focus setup Pick ONE of the following to test during a15-60 minute span of time. -Pick ONE micro-goal (not "work on project") to finish. -Pick something 10% harder than what you did yesterday (slightly out of comfort zone, not overwhelming) -Work for 90 minutes straight (no breaks matches your brain's natural attention cycle) -Turn off all distractions (phone in other room + notifications off + close every tab except one) -Add real stakes (tell someone you'll send them your work in 60 min, or you owe them $20 if you check your phone) -Change your environment (work somewhere completely different—library, coffee shop, different room, outside) -Engage 3 senses at once (stand while working + play music + drink coffee, OR walk + voice record ideas + hold something textured) After testing, post: -What I tested: [number]Task: [what you worked on] What happened: [stayed focused / got distracted / time disappeared] Keeping it: [Yes / No / Maybe] Example: What I tested: #1 (One micro-goal) Task: Writing client email. What happened: Finished in 15 min instead of stalling for an hour. After posting, reply to 2 people (if people responded to this) After testing 3, post your exercise: What works for me: [the 2-3 triggers that help you focus] Example: What works for me: One micro-goal + 90-min block + all distractions gone Why this matters: Flow triggers are proven to work, but they're individual. Testing shows you which ones fit your brain. Sources: Csikszentmihalyi (Flow research), Kotler (Flow triggers), ultradian rhythm studies
