Well, I got disappointing news today. My creek bed is Dolemite and it looks like any more drusy, or other minerals, are going be below that. I could pop some rocks out and hit a pocket and luck out; or I could dig forever and never get below it by myself. The geography is working against me. That being said, the lace agate and banded Chalcedony, colorful pieces, drusy laced agate, banded chert, coral reef fossils, stromatolite fossils, crinoids…..that stuff is all over the place for the taking. I also found our natural Spring so that needs more exploring. Like they told me, the bed is Dolemite so I gotta get below it. But there is drusy all over the place and there is going to be more for someone someday, I just may not be the one that gets to it. On the plus side, I did bring home some really nice agate and Chalcedony pieces that I will slab open and show you guys soon. I’m gonna keep the faith. I know that this land is special whether it wants to show itself off or not.

The Ridge is getting visitors today! Team of rockhounds and a geologist are coming to help me see what’s on our land! So freaking excited 🤩🤗 I will update you with what we find.

Look what finally made it into my life!!! I can’t wait to be actually polishing now that final step to putting in some kind of business in order is finally taken care of!!! And my first Hi-tech machine ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
