At 28 years old, I was told the degeneration in my body (caused from strep, turned rheumatic fever triggering an autoimmune with an RA of 2700 - 74 is normal) was so severe that I'd likely end up crippled and would need cortisone injections for the rest of my life. That moment changed everything. I refused to let someone else write the story of my health. It sent me down a decades-long journey into health, healing, and human potential. I studied nutrition, detoxification, energy medicine, frequency, metaphysics, neuroscience, functional wellness, longevity, and anything that helped me better understand why the body breaks down—and how it heals. I eventually owned a health and wellness center, earned certifications in more modalities than I can honestly keep track of, explored everything from urology to foot detoxification, and never stopped asking one question: What allows people to truly thrive—not just survive? That search has always been about more than looking younger. It's about living with clarity, purpose, vitality, resilience, and energy that lasts. Today, that same curiosity has led me into the world of peptides. Like many areas of advanced wellness, it's a deep rabbit hole—but one grounded in fascinating science and ongoing research. The more I've learned and the more I've experienced personally, the more convinced I've become that they have an exciting role to play in the future of healthy aging and performance. Now, at 56 and living my best, I have never stopped being a student. Because the moment you believe you've learned everything is the moment you stop growing.
