I've been thinking about how often we notice something about ourselves long before we understand its significance. I can see how from a very young age (6/7) that I felt there was something more to life. I didn’t have language for it. I thought life was a mystery and my only avenue to explore that was church. It continued on through my life. When my first husband passed away and I was a single mom with two small children, my friend said, “Annie Indont know how you do it.” I thought that was such a strange thing to say because I couldn’t imagine doing anything different from what I was doing. This continued when my 16 yo daughter became pregnant at 15 - I was 43,) one of my daughters was molested at 8, being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, losing our home to foreclosure, my breast cancer diagnosis 7 years ago - and a few other things. I always felt there was something bigger at play. Don’t was no surprise to learn I carry the Human Design channel of struggle that’s connected with finding meaning and purpose through life experiences.
