Coaching 12u boys. Last year we dipped our toes in the water of LockLeft and really didn't do much other than forcing left. This year I'm aiming to jump in with both feet and not look back.

3 practices in and the boys are having difficulty with the transition role based match up vs tradition 'I"m guarding so and so".

Also, I"m still trying to figure out what exactly a skirmish and a scram are and how to best teach the helping roles.

Any thoughts from the group on implementation, using the concepts in man vs zone, etc are welcome.
