Welcome Home, Seated Sisters
To every woman who has found her way here... Welcome. Whether you've been walking with me since the beginning or you've just discovered Graceful Haven, I want you to know how grateful I am that you're here. This community was created because I believe every woman deserves a place where she can exhale. A place where she doesn't have to prove her worth. A place where she doesn't have to have all the answers. A place where healing isn't rushed and growth isn't measured by perfection. When I chose the name Seated Sisters, I wasn't just thinking about a community—I was thinking about a way of being. A seated woman isn't striving for permission. She isn't chasing everyone else's approval. She knows she has a place. She trusts that her voice matters. She is learning to rest in who she is while growing into who she's becoming. That is the heart of Graceful Haven. Inside this community, we'll journey through The Six Becomings, exploring emotional healing, nervous system regulation, self-trust, boundaries, identity, and the daily practice of becoming whole. This is a space for honest conversations. For grace. For learning. For encouragement. For sisterhood. Most importantly... This is a place where no woman walks alone. So before we begin, I'd love for us to meet one another. 💛 Introduce yourself below: ✨ What's your first name? 📍 Where are you joining us from? 🌱 What brought you to Seated Sisters? 💭 What's one thing you're hoping to reclaim in this season of your life? I'll start. I'm Rasheemia, founder of Graceful Haven. My heart is to help women reconnect with themselves, reclaim their lives, and discover that becoming whole isn't about fixing what's broken—it's about returning to the woman they've always been. Thank you for being here. Take your seat, Sister. You're home.

They did a number on us!!!
The idea that we can do everything. Hold it together. Act as if nothing is bothering us and nothing is wrong, while still excelling and being everything for everybody else. Meanwhile, we may not feel safe enough—or trust even the people around us enough—to let them see the load we’re carrying. And this starts early. Through examples and experiences, we’re taught that showing emotion or not being able to do something isn’t safe. So we hold on. Sis, sit with that for a moment. When you’ve learned to keep it together, letting somebody know you’re struggling can feel like a risk. As we begin this conversation here in Seated Sisters, I want us to make room for an honest answer. You don’t have to make it sound pretty. What did you learn early about being the “strong one,” and how does that lesson still shape what you allow others to see?
Happy Thursday
As this week comes to an end, and whether you have started the shadow work process or not, let this be a reminder that you are all that you desire to be. https://youtu.be/QpXJpOzS9Ro?si=krGhKrMAHJf0zxgQ
