Glen here, bringing the contractor mindset into something new
I’m Glen, originally from Denver and now in Tennessee. I spent more than 20 years in contracting, studied graphic design, and I’m learning sales and practical AI. Ken’s point about testing an idea before spending months building it is something I want to get better at. I’m working on clearer websites and learning material, and I’d like the real person’s question to guide what gets built. When you’re exploring a second-act business idea, what question helps you find out whether the problem matters to someone? I’m interested in what gets a useful answer beyond “that sounds nice.”
START HERE: Introduce Yourself
Welcome. If you're over 45 and wondering what comes next, you're in the right place. This community is for people who want to build a business, create income from their experience, and do work they actually enjoy. I'm Ken Queen. Over the years I've started more than 30 businesses. I've had failures. I've had successes. I've made mistakes that cost money and lessons that made money. What I've learned is this: You don't need another guru. You don't need another complicated course. You don't need another year of research. You need clarity. You need a business that fits who you are. And you need to find out whether customers will actually pay for it before you spend months or years building it. My goal is simple: Help you discover a business you'd be excited to get up on Monday morning and work on. Then help you test it in the real world. Not with opinions. Not with guesses. With actual potential customers. Introduce Yourself Please tell us: • Your name • Where you live • Your career or business background • A business you'd like to start • Your biggest challenge right now I'll personally read introductions and help point you in the right direction. Welcome to Second Act Nation. Let's build your Second Act together.

Title: Why Most People Are Working the Wrong Job (And Don’t Know It) Most people spend their lives building someone else’s dream instead of their own. In this walk-and-talk episode, Ken Queen explains how your hobbies, passions, and real interests may actually contain the blueprint for the business and life you were meant to build. From golf to fishing to coin collecting, this conversation explores how ordinary interests can become income streams, affiliate businesses, purpose-driven brands, and a life you genuinely enjoy waking up to. This isn’t about chasing money alone. It’s about building a life that finally feels like YOURS. If you’ve ever felt stuck, burned out, misaligned, or trapped in work you hate, this message may change how you look at business forever.
