BORROW vs. LEND
These two words can be confusing!
👉 BORROW = receive something temporarily
"Can I borrow your pen?"
👉 LEND = give something temporarily
"Can you lend me your pen?"
Here's an easy way to remember:
- I borrow FROM you.
- You lend TO me.
