8/18/26: Showing up
Today, I am thankful that even on days when are oversleep or run late or miss my time of prayer that God still shows up. The enemy would love for us to think that if we fall short, if we make a mistake or feel as though we failed that we might as well quit. One thing I have found in serving the Lord is he is faithful and he is consistent and his level of love for us is not dependent on our abilities. Today, I’ll leave you with this thought…you are loved with a love that is so much bigger than your ability. The love Christ has for you goes so much deeper. I also leave you with a word of encouragement that even if you feel as though you have not shown up in an area of your Faith God is not disappointed in you. Go forth today and share the gospel and be the hands and feet of Jesus. ~Amanda

Asking God....
What are you asking God to grow in you before He grows what’s around you? 🤍 Sometimes the breakthrough starts with becoming the person who can steward what we’ve been praying for. Drop one word below: What is God working on in you right now?
Asking God....
✦Trusting God in the Waiting ✦
FAITH — Trusting God in the Waiting Waiting is one of the hardest places for faith to grow. We pray, we hope, and we expect answers — yet sometimes God seems quiet. In these seasons, faith isn’t built through immediate outcomes but through continued trust. Waiting does not mean God is absent. It means He is working beyond what we can see. Faith in the waiting requires surrender. It asks us to release control and believe that God’s timing is purposeful. Even when answers feel delayed, God remains faithful. What feels like stillness to us is often preparation in His hands. FOCUS — Remaining Steady When Progress Feels Slow When progress feels slow, our focus can easily drift toward frustration or doubt. We begin to question ourselves, our prayers, and even God’s plan. But focus in the waiting means choosing to stay anchored — not in outcomes, but in God’s presence. Each day of waiting is an opportunity to draw closer to Him. Instead of measuring progress by visible change, we learn to measure it by trust. Focus keeps our hearts aligned when our circumstances haven’t caught up yet. FOUNDATION — God’s Timing Is Secure A life built on God as its foundation is not shaken by delay. God’s timing is never rushed, and it is never late. When we trust His timing, we build a foundation that can hold both hope and disappointment without crumbling. Waiting strengthens our roots. It teaches patience, dependence, and humility. When the answer comes — and it will — it rests on a foundation that is strong enough to sustain what God has prepared. FOCUS SCRIPTURE “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.”— Lamentations 3:25 PRAYER Lord,Waiting is difficult, and sometimes I grow weary in the unknown. Help me trust You when answers are delayed and outcomes are unclear. Teach me to rest in Your timing and remain faithful in the process. Strengthen my heart as I wait and remind me that You are always at work. Amen. DAILY WRITING PROMPT Where in my life am I currently waiting on God? How can I choose trust over frustration in this season?

FAITH — A New Beginning A new year brings fresh hope — a chance to reset, refocus, and rebuild. We often step into January with good intentions, but even with the best plans, one thing can feel especially difficult: putting God first. Not because we don’t love Him, but because life is full, loud, and demanding. Faith isn’t about having it all together. It’s about choosing to trust God even when consistency feels hard. God already knows our struggles. He sees the tension between wanting Him first and living in a world that constantly pulls our attention elsewhere. And still — He invites us closer. This new year is not about striving for perfection. It’s about turning our hearts toward God again and again. Every step of faith, no matter how small, matters. FOCUS — Seeking God First Putting God first requires intentional focus. That focus doesn’t always look like long prayers or perfectly quiet mornings. Sometimes it’s a whispered prayer while driving, a verse read between responsibilities, or a moment of surrender when things feel overwhelming. God isn’t asking for more effort — He’s asking for our attention. He desires relationship, not routine. When we focus on Him first, we begin to see how everything else slowly falls into place. Our priorities shift. Our peace deepens. Our trust grows. Focus is built daily, moment by moment. Each time we redirect our thoughts back to God, we strengthen our connection with Him. FOUNDATION — A Relationship That Lasts A strong foundation is built over time. When God becomes our foundation, we are no longer shaken by every change or challenge. Life may still feel uncertain, but our footing becomes secure. God wants more than our obedience — He wants our hearts. He wants to walk with us through the ordinary and the difficult. When we build our lives on a relationship with Him, we create a foundation that can support growth, healing, and lasting change. This year, let your foundation be rooted in God’s presence. Return to Him when you drift. Lean on Him when you struggle. He is faithful to meet you there.
