Driving traffic to your Etsy shop - other than with Etsy ads
After hearing a discussion on this, I just thought I'd mention a couple of things about driving traffic to Etsy, given that the usual Facebook paid ads etc don't work (because of not being able to place pixels on Etsy). First, you can turn on Etsy Offsite Ads* in your shop settings. Offsite ads will advertise for you on various social media sites, Google and Etsy publishing partner sites. You only pay for this if one of these ads generates a sale for you. So Etsy isn't quite as isolated as it might seem, even if you don't use Etsy ads. Secondly, Etsy's Share and Save Program is worth signing up for as it rewards you for sales driven from your social media posts (you have to use specific links for this, which are generated within the program). Well worth it for the 4% reward on any sales! 😀 *Just to mention that if you earn $10k or more in any 12 months, you can't turn off Etsy Offsite Ads!

Hackers! If you've not signed up to Creative Fabrica, I strongly suggest doing so. It is one email I am always excited to receive as they always send out new fonts and graphics that I find myself using. In terms of metal art or distressed fonts Canva is quite limited and CF has a lot of different options. It's also relatively inexpensive for what it is. The first month is free and then if you go through the attached link you can then get it for $3.99/mo instead of the $29/mo. Do you find you use it a lot? Sign Up Here

New EXPLORATION Ads Setup for Finding Designs That Scale
This is the ad setup I have running in my active account for my new store that has had close to 9,000 orders in it's first 4 months. Facebook's Ai is allowing for simplicity in ad account structures, and the ads we're running. This EXPLORATION campaign will allow you to test different designs, different images, different ad copies, headlines and so on. It is a campaign that is left to run and because of that you need to stay active and ensure you're constantly feeding it. This does not guarantee you'll make sales, but it is an efficient way of maximising your budget while minimising excessive investment without results. This video is now also published inside the Profitable Advertising Module in the Classroom.

Thoughts on which product to go with
Hello all. Would love to get your thoughts on which product option you think is better for pet owners/dog niche. I'm stuck between ShineOn Jewelry or Metal Wall Art. What do you guys think?

Advertising on Google
After hearing this discussed on a recent coaching call, I thought I'd share my experience. Firstly, if you're on Etsy and have off-site ads turned ON, the good news is that Etsy advertises on Google for you. And you only pay if you make a sale directly from an off-site ad. If you're on Shopify, you can use the Google sales channel. I'd say that this is definitely an Advanced stage thing to do, however, and not for beginners to worry about or anyone who isn't confident about using tech. I've found that Google's channels are the worst when it comes to using developer-speak and they can be very unintuitive. I don't use paid Google ads, but I do use the free shopping listings - because they're free, so why not! To do any Google advertising, other than Etsy, you need a Google Merchant Center account, which the Shopify sales channel can guide you into creating if you don't already have one. I've found the Google e-com environment to be something of a learning curve, very fiddly and rather temperamental. Like Facebook, your listings can be suddenly disapproved for reasons that are not always easy to work out or fix. I've figured out some of the quirks and workarounds over time, but patience and determination are sometimes required! 😉
