Start Here: A Little About Me and This Community
Hello everyone, I'm SO glad you made it here. For almost 30 years, I've been using genealogy tools to build family trees and to locate and investigate people. I build traditional family trees for clients who want to learn more about their history, and I help adoptees find their biological families by building trees using their DNA results. Relevant to this community, I love building family trees for investors. I love digging into title searches, investigating ownership, and profiling who the real decision maker is on a property. And once we identify the heir, I love strategizing with clients on the best approach to reach out and get the deal done. For a while, I've done individual and team trainings on how to use genealogy to improve deals and increase profit margins. But I realized a Skool community might be a much more efficient and interactive way to teach this than one off trainings. This community is a place where I can share what I know, answer questions, break down real cases, and build this out with all of you as we go. If you've ever hit a dead end on a lead because the internet trail or skip tracing trail went cold, this is exactly the skill set that fixes that. I'm excited to dig into it with you. Drop a comment and let me know, how did you first discover the curative title world, and what made you decide to dive in?
Excited to find a new rabbit hole!
Hi all, I’m an experienced realtor investor and developer, and have always used deep research and data as an edge. lately I’ve been getting more into the curative title niche and excited to learn about a lesser known tool to help me work smarter not harder.

Ancestry.com
Hey, @Carolyn Plassman do you think the U.S. Discovery plan on ancestry is enough for distressed title deals or have you found that the World Explorer plan is needed in case some heirs are out of the country.
Hello from Boca Raton, FL
Hi! I'm out of Boca Raton, FL and very new to curative title/creative investing. I've been investing over 30 year but the traditional way. Looking to learn new avenues of investing. Also interested in note investing.
Skool Ad Surprise
I just found out this week that Skool makes their OWN ADS FOR YOU. They pick the picture and the graphics and everything...and it's a surprise. I learn something new every day. And the picture they chose for MY ad looks like I'm at a gender reveal party. Which is always the look I'm going for in life. 😊 Thank you for all the kind words on the ads though, you all are truly THE best community of people! 🩷
