I used to eat 4~5 times a day for years, and I put my regular hunger down to a ‘fast metabolism.’ I thought my job working as a teacher sucked my energy, and whenever someone brought pizza, candies, or whatever, I was always up for a snack, haha. BUT, as I approached my forties, my dwindling energy and health in general forced me to investigate deeper, and that’s when I published my second book, “Keto Brunches.” I realized that frequent consumption of carbohydrates wasn’t the right path for someone who had the future goals that I had. As I reevaluated what I was eating every day, I began to add regular vitamins and glutathione supplements. Within a few years, I added strength training and stem cell activation, and 8 years after beginning this health journey, my energy skyrocketed. I now eat twice-a-day on average, and rarely crave a sugar fix. My sleep improved, and my body continues to get stronger. I do sometimes eat pizza and desserts, but they aren’t my regular food choices. When people say to me that health issues are, ‘just ageing,’ I simply can’t agree anymore.
