What a wonderful weekend around here. Can you believe summer is almost officially over on this side of the world? And then will begin my very favorite season - FALL I like to think of fall as the season where everything falls into place.

On that note - a couple things ARE falling into place around here. The first up is that I created a 9-Day Momentum Challenge IN THE CLASSROOM - #Welcome to the 9-Day Substack Momentum Challenge! 9 days to go from idea to implementation!

Using what I put together in the Momentum Challenge lead to...

the second thing I've got cooking is an experiment over on Substack itself - I should have the rest of it setup later this morning and will start sharing notes from there. This account is an experiment about selling real/physical as well as digital products on Substack using the perks page and will be organized as a discount club. The name is Hobo Homesteading and will be about, yeah, homesteading.

Happening Around Here This Week...

Wednesday is the weekly Q&A/Social Hour at 1pm mtn - come join us for 5 minutes or the whole hour - we are very casual and there is usually a whole lotta laughing going on.

Thursday is the Monetize Your Mission Mastermind and Lidia Axe from the Community Builders HQ is coming to share with us strategies for finding your first 100 members for your Skool community.

We start at 2pm mtn and this is open to anyone not just those in this community - If you know friends who are thinking about starting a Skool community bring them along - the more the merrier. I strongly encourage you to "buddy" up especially if you're going live for the first few times on Substack - stuff happens and it's nice to have someone there in case stuff goes sideways - not necessarily to contribute even but to manage the chat & hit the heart and provide another audience as their subscribers will get notified as well. Feel free to post a post soliciting buddies.

While notes is often promoted as the fastest way to grow on Substack - really, I think it's commenting on other's content over there. The more you connect and support the faster you will get "discovered".

Substack has lots of little corners/clicks - find where your people are hanging out and start conversations with them in the notes threads/chat threads and on their articles - not just here in this community but in your own communities over there too.

Find the larger content creators and start conversations with their followers/subscribers, again, in the comments on notes, lives and articles - DMing people randomly. especially with your links is not a good look. But sharing and giving are always appreciated.
