Grocery Item of the Week-There's more to Nutritional Yeast
Nutritional Yeast is grown from fermented molasses; who knew? Not only does it lend a yummy, cheesy flavor, it's also high in a variety of B vitamins that curb sugar cravings and balance energy. It contains fiber, prebiotics, and supports the immune system. Picking up my new tub today! Let me know how you like to use Nutritional Yeast in the comment section. Here's to a healthy Fall. With love, Karen 1. season greens, broccoli, or baked kale chips 2. top off cooked veggies or add to mashed potatoes 3. coat chicken or baked fish 4. add to nuts, seeds, or soups to deepen flavor

Potatoes or Ice Cream? Potatoes.
Hi wonderful members, yesterday I got in my car three times to go get sugar why? Because it was sunny, I felt happy (and alone), I hadn't eaten in 5 hours, and "It's Friday night!" But I turned around, ate this dinner and then had some Reishi hot chocolate. If you have ever felt like you might not survive the night without sugar or being alone with yourself, you are not alone my friend. Even if you do go get the sugar, the noticing and naming of the feelings, while you drive there, is tremendous progress. If you have ever felt torn between a meal or sugar, sometimes eating more food can be the answer. If we overeat a carb like potatoes, that is still better than sugar because at least it is nourishment and the body can utilize it better than empty calories. The question is-is the food that we are overeating healthy? Please share an experience of yours, I'd love to hear. With love, Karen Steamed red potatoes and broccoli. Tossed in coconut oil with nutritional yeast and cheddar (from pastured cows). I ate 2 plates full.

Grocery Item of the Week-Healthy Hot Chocolate
Now that Fall is here, warm beverages are starting to sound pretty good. This hot chocolate is yummy, soothing, and satisfies a sweet craving. I truly felt calmer and clearer minded when I had a cup of this before work. When I had it at 8 pm, it did not keep me up or awake in the night. The ingredients are super clean, and it's sweetened with monk fruit and coconut sugar at 3g per cup. You can use a frother to really get it stirred up. This coco is kind of pricey, but I've had my bag for at least 3 months. May you enjoy this cozy bev. and let me know how you like it and if you have any questions. With love, Karen

Need a new breakfast idea? This one is delicious, easy, and super satiating. Try to find a bacon that does not contain sugar or maple syrup if you can. I'd love to hear how you like it in the comment section. Karen
