Day 6: The day the math gets honest
Yesterday you met the version of you who already has it. Today we count what it's costing to keep them waiting. For five days we've worked mostly with fear and hope. Day 6 works with something sharper: consequence. Because knowing who you could be isn't enough to move you — plenty of people go their whole lives knowing exactly who they could have been. What actually moves you is when staying the same starts to hurt more than the risk of changing. That's what today is for. Not motivation. Leverage. Three questions, and each one is meant to land somewhere uncomfortable. First: if nothing changes, where are you in five years? Don't give me "I don't want to still be here." That's a flinch, not an answer. Go there. Actually stand in it — same debt, same Sunday-night dread, same thing still not done, five years older, still telling yourself the same story about why. Make it vivid enough to be unbearable. A blurry future changes no one. A future you can feel changes everything. Second: what has staying the same already cost you? Not what it might cost — what it's already taken. The years. The opportunities that came and went. The version of you that's still standing in the waiting room. And the third one is the one you'll want to skip, so don't. Who else is paying for it? This is where it stops being about you. The people who love you are carrying the weight of your staying small too — the ones watching you not do the thing, the ones who'd be reached if you showed up, the ones quietly learning from you that dreams are just things we talk about. Let yourself feel that one. It's the truest fuel there is. 📍One warning, because Day 6 has a trap. The cost is meant to move you forward, not bury you. If you feel yourself sliding into "I've wasted so much, I've failed everyone" — stop. That's not the assignment. You can't get the years back. You can own every single one that's left. The cost isn't a verdict on who you've been. It's the price tag on staying the same one more year — and you're the one who decides whether you keep paying it.

THE 7AM CHALLENGE STARTS NEXT WEEK
I'm showing the public exactly what AVA 2.0 does, three mornings in a row at 7am, starting Tuesday 25 August. Doing the 7 days on your own is great. But having AVA there to catch your thoughts makes the whole process far more effective. So invite your friends, or just come with your coffee, and let's break those patterns together. It's a relaxed, personal setting. No pressure, no performance. Be part of the The Ripple💧 Make sure you've registered for this event: https://surinaj.com/challenge

THE 7AM CHALLENGE STARTS NEXT WEEK
My Roadmap.
Not a perfect life. A life where I start every day with God, protect my time, plan my days, love my family well, work with purpose, make room for creativity, and no longer believe I have to exhaust myself to prove my worth. I am choosing this woman, one day at a time.
My Roadmap.
Day 5: The Identity Gap
This is where the digging stops and the building starts. For four days you've been going down — the belief, the hiding place, the voice, the payoff. Today you turn around and look up. Who is the version of you on the other side of all this? The one who already has what you've been reaching for? And here's the thing about that version of you: it's not a stranger you have to become. It already exists. It's who'd be running the show if the old pattern weren't in the way. Day 5 isn't about inventing someone new. It's about meeting who's been underneath the whole time. Where most people go wrong today: they write the poster version. "I'm confident. I'm abundant. I'm free." Pretty words, and useless, because you can't step into an adjective. The you who already has it isn't a mood — it's a set of behaviours. So get specific and get boring: what does that version of you actually do on an ordinary Tuesday that you still have to force yourself to do? How do they answer the email, price the offer, make the ask — without the flinch that currently costs you a whole day of nerve? That's the real work. The gap between you and them isn't confidence. It's the specific things they do without thinking that you're still white-knuckling. Name those, and you've got your map. And the last question ties the whole week together: what's keeping you from being that version today? Look closely, because the honest answer is almost never "circumstances." It's the payoff you named yesterday. The exact thing staying stuck has been quietly paying you is the thing standing between you and them. That version of you isn't far away. It's on the other side of the thing you've been protecting. So when you've done the work with AVA, post your Day 5 line here — and this time, don't describe that version of you. 👉Step into them.👈 Write one sentence in the present tense, as the person who already has it. Start it with "Day 5." Speak as them, not about them. Whatever you're not changing, you are choosing. Today you find out exactly who you'd be if you chose differently.
