A big buzzword in the fitness space right now is "hypertrophy". With that comes the idea of "training to failure". That can have its place, depending on your goals, but generally, IRL, you rarely want to push that far. That leads to burnout. In this sense, you burn out for a day or two, recover, and get back to it. For most people tho, it doesn't make a lot of sense to be burnt out like that. You want to be ready to go all day, everyday. The same applies to mental and emotional states. Push yourself, expand your horizons, GROW, but maintain something in reserve so you don't have to take a "day off'... Because there are no days off. 💯 Everyday is a day in your life and we all only have so many. 🙏
