Maria joined Teachers for Peace with her children when the full blown invatsion of Ukraine by Russia began in 2022. She kept showing up, kept learning, and then chose to give back by volunteering. Today, Maria is in Ireland with her children 🇮🇪 and she continues to lead our Read & Talk class, bringing her love of books (she’s an avid reader!) and her calm, steady presence to learners across borders.
