🙏 A Prayer Over the Teaching With Jesus Community
Welcome to the Teaching With Jesus Community. As teachers join this space, we pause to pray over every member, asking God to guide, strengthen, and encourage us as we teach with Jesus at the center. Heavenly Father, We thank You for every member of the Teaching With Jesus community. Thank You for bringing each teacher here at the right time in their journey. We pray that they are encouraged, strengthened, and receive wisdom for their teaching journey. Help them not grow weary in doing what You have called them to do in this season. Even in the midst of challenging moments or difficult seasons, help them trust that You are with them and that You will guide them in the right direction. Teach them to release control and surrender their classrooms and every area of their lives to You, knowing that You are all-knowing, all-wise, and always have our best interest at heart. Lord, we thank You for sustaining us, comforting us, counseling us, advocating for us, interceding for us, and being our standby, our waymaker, and so much more. As a community, we link arms in prayer. We commit to encouraging one another, praying for one another, and building one another up. May this be a movement of praying teachers—teachers who pray for one another, for their students, for their schools, and for the classrooms You have entrusted to them. Help us rejoice always, remain persistent in prayer, and give thanks in every situation, just as Your Word instructs us. May we continue to encourage and build one another up as we walk out our calling to teach with You at the center. In Jesus Name, Amen. If you’re new here, feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself post so we can begin praying for you. 💜

Prayer Request
My husband was in a car accident yesterday, and we are still at the hospital. Please keep him and our family lifted up in prayer, for healing, guidance on the next steps, strength, and peace. If there is something you are carrying right now, I would love to pray for you too. Share your prayer request below, or message me privately if that feels better. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) Thank you for standing with us. 🙏🏾
Trusting God Doesn’t Always Mean Staying Silent
I’m sharing a few pictures from a difficult day in my classroom at the end of September because sometimes the reality of what teachers are carrying cannot be explained in words alone. These pictures only show part of what happened that day, but I chose not to share any images that included the student. Over the past couple of weeks, God has been reminding me of something I am still learning: I can trust Him and still ask for help. I had prayed, used the strategies I knew, documented, redirected, and kept trying. But eventually, I had to speak up more and say that I needed more support. And I’m glad I did. Has everything completely changed? No. This week has still been challenging. But I have seen an increase in support, and I’m grateful for that. It has been a reminder that sometimes part of trusting God is following His lead when it’s time to speak. Trusting God doesn’t always mean staying silent. Sometimes it looks like praying, being still, or waiting. And sometimes it looks like using your voice. The important thing is allowing God to lead. In this season, I’m learning to pray, listen, and then move as God leads. Even if that means speaking up. So if you are in a stretching season, pray, listen, and follow His direction. If He is leading you to speak, don’t be afraid to use your voice. And be willing to receive the help He sends, even if it does not look exactly like what you expected. Reflection: Is there something you have been carrying quietly that God may be leading you to speak up about or ask for help with? Feel free to share below if you’re comfortable. 💜
