Thank you Texas IRL Events for this great opportunity. The best thing that can happen is meeting people in real life. Shake hands, look eachother in the eyes, drink a cup of coffee, discuss Skool stuff and hear eachothers stories, journey and goals. Skool IRLs are more and more common and when you travel it's always good to reach out and try to meet other schoolers. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. People are busy but mostly there is someone around at the place you travel to who is able to meet with you in person. So this week I am traveling in Texas and I reached out last week to try to find people to meet during my travels. I posted in the Texas IRL group This group by @Goose Dunlavey ), I posted in Skoolers (by @Sam Ovens ), and I posted it in the Synthesizer community (by @Andrew Kirby ). There are so many people that actually want to meet but are busy or away themselves and that's always nice to see how many people are happy to join for a cup of coffee. Unexpectedly I got a message from @James Agius . “We can meet for coffee on Monday” So we did! We had a vivid conversation with a cup of coffee in a cool cafe. We talked about Skool, goals, communities and irl meetups, work, finances, energy and (of course) real estate. We both really enjoyed our conversation. We had a great time together. And although it was realtively short we talked like we were long time friends forever. Thanks for having coffee with me, I truly value our precious time together. There is something about IRL with other Skoolers. Meeting other Skoolers is like meeting friends you havn't seen for a long time. And they are like friends with the same mindset, with the same goals, with the same values, with the same open minds, with the same spirit, the same drive. We are all different and alike at the same time.
