Cold Sun Founder Coffee Hour is happening in 19 hours
Pinned
Start here. Your board, today.
You're in. Everyone here owns a local service business, and we're here for one thing: more customers. Do these three in the next 24 hours: 1. Introduce yourself below: business, city, and how many leads came in last month. Real number. Zero is fine. Zero is why you're here. 2. Do Task 1: pull your last 10 leads and count how many got a call or text back inside five minutes. Post the number. 3. Turn on notifications so you see the daily task. Today's lead count is your Day 1 number. Post your count here every week and I'll go through every one. How this place works: - Free (you, right now): the daily task, the systems, the sprint. - Got Leads? Plus, $37/month: Got Leads? templates, the weekly live call, and I review your leads with you. Use the Upgrade button when you want it. - When you'd rather hand it off: The Cold Sun Journey (done-for-you leads in GHL), Helios Ascend (managed GHL support), and Helios Field (software for crews and techs). Ask me in here. No pressure, and nobody gets pitched in the first week. Rules: real numbers only. Ask anything about your board. Don't pitch other members. Let's fill the board. Erik

Share Your Win — Evidence Before Hype
A win is useful when another member can learn from it. Share progress here using this simple format: 1. Starting point — what was true before? 2. Action — what did you change or complete? 3. Result — what changed? 4. Evidence — add a redacted screenshot, number or clear example when appropriate. 5. Lesson — what should another member repeat or avoid? Use one title label: Clear Offer, First Outreach, First Sales Call, First Client, Revenue Win, Renewal, or Delivery/System Win. For money wins, state the currency, gross revenue or profit, new or recurring revenue, and the time period. Remove client names and private details. Posting inside this private community does not give Cold Sun permission to use your name, image, amount, screenshot or quote publicly. We will always ask you separately before sharing a win outside the group. Small, honest progress counts. Evidence before hype—every time.

What changed after the system went live
One thing I have learned while building companies and systems is that go-live changes the question. Before launch, we ask: Can we build it? After launch, the better questions are: Will people use it, does it improve the work, and can we prove the difference? A system can be technically correct and still create more friction. Real work exposes unclear ownership, missing information, awkward handoffs and steps that looked sensible in a workshop but do not fit the working day. That is not failure. It is evidence—if we are disciplined enough to use it. Run this 30-minute after-live review with one real process. Rate each point green, amber or red: 1. Outcome — Is the original business result still clear? 2. Ownership — Does one person own the process after launch? 3. Adoption — Are people using the agreed workflow without private workarounds? 4. Handoffs — Does information move without chasing, copying or rekeying? 5. Evidence — Can you show what improved in speed, quality, revenue or customer experience? Do not create a ten-item improvement backlog. Choose one red item, assign one owner and test one change for seven days. Then review the evidence again. This is how the Cold Sun framework connects: The Cold Sun Journey builds the discipline to keep learning after launch: https://www.skool.com/the-cold-sun-journey/about Engnite helps diagnose what is actually breaking: https://www.skool.com/cold-sun-engnite/about Ascend provides managed implementation, adoption and continuous optimisation when the work needs experienced delivery: https://www.skool.com/helios-ascend-5900/about What turned red in your last go-live—and what one change would you test next?

Discipline includes knowing when to ask for support
One of the most expensive habits in entrepreneurship is confusing discipline with doing everything yourself. I have learned that discipline is not about carrying every task until you are exhausted. It is about protecting the outcome, telling yourself the truth and choosing the right kind of help at the right time. Try this 15-minute stop-or-support review today: 1. Name the outcome you are trying to create. 2. Write down what is actually blocking it—not the symptom. 3. Ask whether this is a skill you must learn or work that simply needs to be completed well. 4. Count how many times the same issue has returned. 5. Choose one route: do it, learn it, ask for guidance or bring in managed support. My practical rule is simple: keep the work when it builds a core founder skill. Ask for guidance when one decision is stopping progress. Bring in managed help when the problem keeps returning, affects customers or requires deeper platform experience. That is also how the Cold Sun framework connects. The Cold Sun Journey builds the mindset, discipline and repeatable lead-to-client system. Engnite helps diagnose the business-system problem before you spend money on the wrong fix. Ascend provides managed implementation, adoption and continuous optimization when experienced delivery is the responsible next step. The Next Chapter of the Cold Sun Journey
We’re building Helios around a simple idea: founders should lead the business, not become the system. The ecosystem now connects Orbit, Field, Signal, Pulse, Ascend and Core AI—six products supporting demand, delivery, visibility, intelligence, adoption and transformation from within.
