If you're not sure what to reach for this week, borrow a palette from outside. Late August evenings round here are dusty pink, warm terracotta, faded gold and a soft grey blue, with a bit of sage where the garden has given up. Four or five colours, nothing more. It works lovely on the pages in this month's Spiritual book, because a limited palette makes repeating shapes sing. One small trick: use your lightest colour for the biggest spaces, and save the darkest for the tiny gaps. What would your four be? Or show us what you've been colouring, finished or not. 🖍️
