🌱 Welcome to the Consciousness Path Skool Community! We’re a group of real people dedicated to becoming internally free and happy, and externally effective and powerful. We’re glad you’re here — we’ve laid out a simple path to get you started. 🔍 First steps - Step 1: Take the free Foundation for Consciousness course by Brendan Lea This short course explains our goal in these efforts. - Step 2: Join our Consciousness Monhtly Session (Sundays) Meet fellow members, ask questions, and deepen your practice together. See the upcoming event in the calendar. - Step 3: Explore other courses A great next step is Peter Ralston’s Increasing Consciousness course, but feel free to browse the full catalog and follow your curiosity. - Step 4: Attend a live or online workshop If you’re serious about growth, Ralston’s live workshops are incredibly powerful and they will put your journey on a different level, we guarantee that. 💬 Stay engaged - Share your questions, insights, and breakthroughs in the discussion feed. - Let us know what resources or topics would help you most and also share any feedback you have. - In case you have any questions or would like to reach out to us, please contact Brendan Lea or myself. “Increasing consciousness is the most important pursuit any human can undertake. Generally, people are stuck in a great deal of false realities that produce struggle, suffering, and discontent. Increasing consciousness frees us from this falsely limited world so we can access greater freedom and happiness, not to mention gain more effectiveness and creativity. Becoming more conscious takes investigation, learning, and contemplation. We provide these tools and support.” — Peter Ralston
Mind and vision
I want to share something that I find interesting. When I am just the body my vision, that is a bit blurry in some areas of the seeing, becomes totally clear. When mind gets in, the vision blurrs up again. I have done it frequently and it is the same experience every time.
Improvements are coming to the community. What do you wish was here?
Hey everyone, we've been working on some improvements to this community that will be rolling out soon. Before we lock them in, I want to hear from you. Is there anything you wish we had here but currently don't? Non-Skool related suggestions are welcome too! The more specific, the better. "A weekly session" I can act on. "More stuff" I can't. 🙏

Judging = avoiding = suffering
I notice when I judge someone or something (and by judging I mean assigning a moral value to my assessment of something, as opposed to discerning where I am not making a moral attribution) I am avoiding an emotion or feeling. The judgement of the the "thing" acts to replace the emotion that preceded it. I cannot be judging someone and be simultaneously genuinely feeling the truth of my emotions. As an example I was busy harshly judging someone at work for sabotaging a project I was working on. I was fuelled with so much anger and injustice. Narratives spinning away about how I could get revenge. Make it right again. I realised the anger and indignation I felt arising from judging was masking what I was really feeling. Hurt. Sadness. Pain. Even some shame I didn't help the person when they needed it. Judging this person blocked the truth of my experience. I fell out of authenticity. This process also generated a lot of suffering. Does anyone else recognise this within them as an insight? Judgement blocks our truth. Suffering is generated in how we relate (avoiding in this case) to our feelings and emotions. Not as much from the feelings themselves. The feelings dissolved immediately and suffering stopped as soon as I let myself feel them ☺️
