Okay, I’ve been cooking something and I need to know if it’s just me. A year-long witch school. Before you picture robes and a final exam, it works pretty differently from most courses out there. I read a book last year that has stuck with me. It was a woman who started trying witchcraft for herself with little understanding of it. She began through trial and error- asked people how they did it, tried many different paths, and eventually came to understand herself though the process. That is where my idea of a school comes from. Most witchcraft programs hand you one teacher’s way of doing things and ask you to follow it. That’s great if you already know you’re a Wiccan, or a hedge witch, or whatever. Most of us don’t, though. Most of us have three half-read books on the nightstand, 400 saved pins, and a nagging feeling that we aren’t “real” witches yet because... well, a million reasons. So, this is a little "choose your own adventure" and a little "here's some history info and safety practice" and a little "this is what worked for me". What’s potentially inside: - Door 1: Foundations, Intention & Grimoire Setup — Overcoming the "witch identity gap" ("Am I a real witch yet?"), setting up a personal grimoire early, introducing the Witch's Pyramid, and launching the study altar lab. - Door 2: Ethics, Discernment & Frameworks — Comparing ethical frameworks (moving beyond standard Wiccan defaults) and practicing source-checking on beginner blogs and herbal sourcing. - Door 3: Energy Work — Understanding personal energy, grounding, and boundary work. - Door 4: Spirit Guides & Traditions — Exploring folk, devotional, and diverse witch paths. - Door 5: Divination — Introduction to divination methods and intuitive discernment. - Door 6: Elements & Correspondences — Working with directional, elemental, and natural correspondences. - Door 7: Moon Magic & Cycles — Working with lunar phases, esbats, and cyclical timing. - Door 8: Spell Basics & Craft — Foundational spell mechanics, intention setting, and practical magic. - Door 9: Tarot & Oracle — Working with cards, symbolism, and personal interpretation. - Door 10: Crystals & Tools — Exploring physical tools, crystals, and practical alternatives without dogma. - Door 11: Shadow Work & Inner Work — Deepening self-reflection, addressing inner blocks, and personal integration. - Door 12: Reflection, Rest & Integration — Seasonal pause, reflection, and a final path-naming or self-dedication rite.
