🎯 MINI CHALLENGE! What’s Your Favorite Language-Learning App or Exercise? 📱🧠
(Answer in your target language!) Alright everyone — let’s talk about what you actually DO to learn a language. 😁 We all have that one app, exercise, or little routine that seems to work particularly well for us. Maybe you: • use Duolingo every morning 🦉 • watch YouTube videos in your target language • talk to yourself while walking around 😂 • use flashcards • practice with ChatGPT • listen to podcasts • write a few sentences every day • have some completely weird technique that somehow works 🔥 👉 So today’s question is: What’s your favorite language-learning app or exercise — and why do you like it? 📝 Your challenge: Write 3–5 sentences in your target language explaining: 1. What app or exercise you use 2. How often you use it 3. Why you think it helps you ✨ Example “My favorite language-learning exercise is watching short videos in Spanish. I try to watch something every day, even if it’s only for ten minutes. I like it because I hear how people actually speak and I’m constantly picking up new expressions. Sometimes I watch the same video twice to see how much more I understand the second time.” 🌍 Now it’s your turn. What’s one app, exercise, or language-learning habit you’d genuinely recommend to everyone else? 😁🔥

🎯 MINI CHALLENGE! What Do You Think of Duolingo? 🟢🦉
(Answer in your target language!) Alright everyone — HAPPY MONDAY! 😄 Today’s challenge is fun, simple, and probably controversial, haha. 👉 What do you think of Duolingo? Do you love it? Hate it? Use it every day? Tell us in your target language! I’m sure all of you know Duolingo — it’s one of the most popular language-learning apps in the world. My personal take? I use it - I find it fun! But only as one tool among many. Just like I always say: 🛠️ You can’t build a whole house with just a hammer. And you can’t reach fluency with just Duolingo. It’s a great little tool — but not the whole toolbox. 😉 Now YOUR turn! 💬 Example Prompt You Can Use in ChatGPT (Copy + paste this into AI if you want help writing your answer in your target language.) “Please write a short, natural paragraph in [TARGET LANGUAGE] explaining this idea: I like Duolingo, but I don’t think it’s enough to reach fluency. It’s a helpful tool, but you can’t build a full house with just a hammer — you need more resources.” Now it’s your turn!

Welcome to the Language Renaissance
If you’re reading this, congratulations — you are one of the very first members of a project I’ve been building quietly for months. Language Renaissance isn’t “another language group.”It’s a new way of learning, thinking, and connecting with the world. The idea here is simple: Learn languages using practical methods, cultural insight, and smart AI tools — inside a global, positive, inspiring community. No unnecessary complexity. No perfectionism. No endless grammar drills. The mission here is: - Learn in a real, human way - Build cultural intelligence - Develop microfluency in useful topics - Use AI to accelerate everything - Become a more connected, global, confident version of yourself Yes — we’ll focus on English, but also French, Spanish, Italian, German, and more. Everything you learn here will help you learn ANY language with more clarity, expression, confidence, and depth. Most importantly: this will be a warm, modern, fun space where you study because you want to grow — not because someone is pressuring you.
Welcome to the Language Renaissance
The language learning system I’d actually use inside Language Renaissance
One thing I really like about the approach here is the focus on using the language, not just studying it. It’s easy to spend hours collecting vocabulary, watching lessons, and saving resources without actually getting better at communicating. If I were building my daily practice around the Language Renaissance approach, I’d keep it simple: 1. Learn something useful 2. Pick a small piece of vocabulary, grammar, or an expression you can actually use. 3. Use it immediately 4. Write a few sentences, have a conversation, or explain something in your target language. 5. Use AI for feedback 6. Ask AI to correct your mistakes, explain the corrections, and give you a few more natural ways to say the same thing. 7. Turn mistakes into practice 8. Instead of just reading the correction and moving on, add it to your next speaking or writing challenge. 9. Keep showing up 10. Even 15 to 20 minutes of active practice every day is more useful than another hour of passive studying. I’ve also been usingFloment to organize this kind of practice into small projects and daily tasks. It’s useful when you want to turn something vague like “I want to improve my Spanish” into actual actions you can complete and track. That’s what I think makes the practice first approach so powerful. You stop asking “How much have I studied?” And start asking “How much have I actually used?” What language are you currently learning, and what are you doing to actively use it every day?
Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland: Focus, Discipline, and Mental Preparation Erling Haaland is one of the best football players in the world. The Norwegian striker is famous for his power, speed and goals, but his success also comes from his habits outside the pitch. Haaland practices meditation because it helps him find peace and stay focused. He once said: "I like to meditate. Meditation helps me a lot to find peace within myself, and it is good for me." Before games, Haaland is known for creating moments of concentration and mental preparation. These habits help him enter the match with confidence and focus. 🏝️Think about Haaland’s habits before a game. What do you think about his focus routine?
