What did the hivemind think of the final chart? The #1 isn’t a surprise but I was surprised how little grunge there is in the top 30 (tbh totally fine with that). But very happy to see that “Groove is in the heart” got as high as 7. At first glance, I thought it was remarkable that Cranberries have 3 tracks in the top 30 but I don’t see U2 until 41! Any other thoughts?

So one thing I’ve gotten into over the last few years is making a song-a-day mix. I got the idea from ex-MTV host Dave Holmes, and all you do is pick one song each day… something you hear, something you think of, something tied to an event/news item/personal milestone, etc. and you just keep building over 365. At the end of each year (or each month, even) not only do you have a sweet - and often very random! - mix but afterwards you can look back on it and re-live the time… be it “oh yeah, that’s the day I watched ____” or “I was out at my local and this song just hit the moment perfectly!” Just sharing in case anyone here wants to give it a go moving forward! Or maybe you do it too? If anyone is interested, here’s how my year started (and, yes, thank you @John Richards for more than a couple of these!) https://music.apple.com/ca/playlist/01-january-2026/pl.u-b3b84WNUbAvLP https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6LhKcbjOy0CkY4mJFazeCT

I keep forgetting to look at this app. My kid has released a couple albums online this year and I’ve been trying to figure out if I’m just being proud dad or if they’re as good as I think. Love to hear some honest feedback. In Spotify the artist is “shielder” but in Apple Music it’s “Wilco Ballstadt”. And no, it doesn’t sound like Wilco. Haven't posted one in a bit so here ya go. An especially eclectic mix of streams last week, spanning about 5 decades and hopefully thoroughly confusing Apples Al-Gore-Rhythm

I love this Belly song from the old Jon Stewart show from the 90s: https://youtu.be/EYUfkh-AvL0?is=MZkzU0UsEKfllV2b What are other TV appearances that you like?
