🚫 NO SPAMMING — LET’S PROTECT OUR VILLAGE
Raised By A Village is a community built on connection, support, learning and genuine relationships. 🌱 To keep this space valuable for everyone, spamming is not permitted. This includes: • Repeatedly posting the same content • Unsolicited promotions or advertisements • Posting links purely to drive traffic elsewhere • Repeatedly promoting your business, service, group or product • Sending unwanted promotional messages to members • Using the community primarily for self-promotion rather than contributing ⚠️ Please understand: continued or deliberate spamming may result in your membership being removed from Raised By A Village. We want people to feel safe participating here without being bombarded with advertisements or unwanted content. Before you post, ask yourself: “Am I adding value to the Village, or am I simply trying to get something from it?” There is a place for sharing your work and opportunities—but it needs to be done respectfully and within the community guidelines. 🌱 Protect the Village. 🤝 Respect the members. 💬 Add value. ❤️ Build genuine connections. We grow stronger when we contribute, not when we spam.

Parents: What If I Had Something to Do With My Child's Harmful Behaviour
“If I discover that my child learned some harmful behaviour from me, I don't need to hide from that discovery. I need to use it as a turning point. I change what my child sees, I set clearer boundaries, I teach empathy, and I help my child repair the harm. Changing the family pattern today can prevent that pattern from becoming the child's pattern tomorrow.”

DAY 1: Welcome to the Village - You Are Not Alone
Kia ora Village! Welcome to our 14-day journey. Sometimes in families, one person's big feelings and big needs take up all the space. It can feel confusing, lonely, or like you have to be perfect to be loved. If that's been your experience, you are not alone, and you are not the problem. This series is not about labeling people. It's about learning patterns, finding safe words for hard things, and remembering: it takes a village to raise a child, and to heal one. Village activity: In the comments, share one word for how you want this village to feel. Safe? Kind? Funny? This is education, not therapy. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out to a safe adult, school counsellor, or call 1737 / Youthline 0800 376 633 in NZ. If you have emergency numbers in your country please post them in the comments or I can create an Emergency Section.

DAY 1: Welcome to the Village - You Are Not Alone
Day 1: It's Not Just Vanity. It's a System.
A path has been created for men and women who may be in a relationship with a narcissist and may or may not know it. Let's clear this up on Day 1, Village. Narcissism isn't someone who loves selfies. It's a system of control where love is conditional and your job was to regulate someone else's emotions. If you grew up walking on eggshells, apologizing for things you didn't do, and being told you were "too sensitive" — that wasn't family. That was a system. You weren't raised by a parent. You were raised by a role. Today we start unlearning it. Together. Welcome to the Village. --- 💬 COMMUNITY PROMPT: What myth about narcissism kept you stuck the longest? Drop it below. Let's debunk it together. #RaisedByAVillage #Day1 #HealingInCommunity
