Small business owners, make it easy for people to give you their money! 😂 If I want to buy from you, I shouldn’t have to search all over your Facebook page to figure out when you’re open. I shouldn’t have to hunt for a menu, an address or a phone number. If you’re selling something, tell me how much it costs. And PLEASE make it obvious what I need to do when I’m ready to buy. We spend so much time trying to get more people to notice our businesses, but getting their attention is only half the battle. Once they’re interested, make it as easy as possible for them to become a customer. What’s something a business has made unnecessarily difficult for you as a customer?

I’m going to say something that might annoy a few small business owners. 👀 Being busy does NOT mean your business is doing well. You can have a packed schedule, a full inbox, orders to fill, customers calling and a to-do list that never ends…and STILL not be making enough money. You can also spend all day working on your business without actually doing anything that’s going to grow it. Busy is not a business goal. Profitable, sustainable, and growing. Those are goals.
