Voice notes podcasting
I thought this could be an interesting way to do podcasting. The host and guest recorded voice notes back and forth on Voxer, and turned that into a single audio file. Could be a way to get going if you really really don't wanna do video or want to record with guests in an async way. Not ideal, but I think it's a cool option. I know I'd probably record more if I didn't have to get the video all set up and look pretty. Plus I already have long voice note convos with my friends so it's not as huge of a discomfort leap. Riverside also has an async video recording mode. I haven't tried it yet. Anyway, here's the thing with the Voxer recording. How important are other platforms for posting a new podcast?
For example, Deezer, SoundCloud, iHeartRadio...should I post to them all? I'm using Riverside hosting and they recommended all of them (except SoundCloud). Do you mainly recommend the top 3 (Youtube, Apple and Spotify)? Or are others worth my time and effort? Because I have a separate Apple ID for many years, I struggled to get the podcast claimed on Apple by trying to create a new ID/account. I didn't want my original personal Apple account used for the podcast for security and privacy reasons. @David Barbarisi helped me come up with some options. It would be nice to have more tips on distribution once the first episode is live. I see there is a course titled 7 Days of Podcast Growth in the Classroom tab, but it's not available. Will this be available in the future?
