Thanks for the call this week guys, I really appreciate your honesty and the freedom to share and reflect on my own fathering. Something I took away from our call was how easy it is to be a passive leader. You get busy, you get tired, and without meaning to you hand the leading over to your wife. The atmosphere of the home stops being something you set and becomes something you just live in. Culture tells us dads are the helper and mum is the one really running the family. If a man does not take up his authority as a father, a woman will step in and fill it, and that is not the way God designed it… For more on this go check out what we discussed in the "weekly wisdom" classroom course, under coaching, resilience, and fitness. This week's action points: 1) Do five minutes of exercise a day. Something is better than nothing. 2) Then try to figure out a rough idea of an exercise plan. I am going to create a tracking template you can use.
