Community Guidelines: How We Show Up Here
Community Guidelines: How We Show Up Here Not rules. Culture. This community exists because every person deserves to be treated with dignity, and that includes everyone in this room. Here's what that looks like, in practice: ❤️ We listen before we try to fix. ❤️ We assume good intentions. ❤️ We honor experiences different from our own. ❤️ We protect confidentiality. ❤️ We encourage, never shame. ❤️ We ask honest questions. ❤️ We celebrate the small wins. ❤️ We practice what we're learning, not just talk about it. You never have to pretend you've got it all together. None of us do. This is a place to learn, grow, stumble, and keep walking, together.

Welcome to Trauma Champions: Start Here
This isn't a place to stockpile information you'll never use. It's a place to become someone who carries safety, hope, and healing into every room you enter. Being a Trauma Champion was never about a job title. Some of us are therapists. Some are parents, pastors, teachers, leaders. Some are simply doing the quiet work of healing ourselves. What brings us together isn't a profession. It's a shared commitment to living trauma-informed, one ordinary day at a time. Here, we believe healing grows through practice, not perfection. We choose curiosity over judgment, compassion over criticism, progress over performance, and doing over merely knowing. Together, we'll learn to: • regulate our nervous systems • speak with compassion • lead with wisdom • care for others without losing ourselves • build homes, workplaces, churches, and communities that feel safe Welcome, friend. Let's become Trauma Champions together.
October Reset: 🍂 DAY 10: NOTICE YOUR EARLY SIGNALS
What signals that you’re getting overwhelmed? Maybe your voice gets sharper, you start rushing, your jaw tightens, or you lose track of the conversation. Today, notice one early signal and choose one response: pause, ask for space, or simplify the next task. You don’t have to wait until you’re at your limit.

October Reset: 🍂 DAY 9: NAME IT WITHOUT BECOMING IT
Try saying: “I’m noticing anxiety,” “I’m feeling frustrated,” or “I’m having a hard moment.” Choose words that describe your experience without defining your whole identity. You can acknowledge a feeling and decide what to do next. What word fits today?
