✈️ Skool Community Owners: Turn Travel into Rewards
If you run a Skool community and travel for conferences, meetups, masterminds, speaking events, or other business-related trips, your travel expenses could be doing more for you. With the Amex Business Gold Card, eligible flights and prepaid hotels booked through Amex Travel can earn 3X Membership Rewards points. So instead of looking at travel as just another business expense, think about how those purchases can help fund future travel. The goal is simple: Use your business expenses strategically → earn more points → turn those points into future flights and hotel stays. If you’re already spending money to grow your community, you might as well make those expenses work a little harder for you. Any other Skool community owners using credit card points to offset business travel? 👇

Is CLEAR worth it? ✈️
I've had a CLEAR membership for almost two years now, and overall, I think it's been worth it. The biggest advantage for me is when I'm running late to the airport. If the security lines are backed up, CLEAR has saved me more than once by getting me through the identity check much faster. That extra time can make all the difference when you're cutting it close. That said, it's definitely not perfect. CLEAR isn't available at every airport, and even when it is, it may only be offered in certain terminals. The cost can also be hard to justify if you only travel occasionally. I usually take a few trips a year—not every month—and I still find enough value in it to keep my membership. One perk I recently took advantage of was enrolling in TSA PreCheck through CLEAR. Since I already had a CLEAR membership, the enrollment process was quick and convenient compared to the traditional route. I also know some premium credit cards, like The Platinum Card® from American Express, will reimburse the cost of a CLEAR membership, which can make the value proposition even better if you already carry one of those cards. Now I'm curious... - Do you have CLEAR? - Has it saved you time, or has it disappointed you? - Do you think it's worth the price, or is it overrated? - If you had to choose just one, would you pick CLEAR or TSA PreCheck? - I'd love to hear everyone's real-world experiences!

How to get special airline perks for free. Great video I found
This video came up in my Facebook feed. It's well worth a look. Many things you can get just by asking. I've seen the things where people get meals and I know in our own family we had some older people and we asked for an escort and they took us right to the gate https://www.facebook.com/reel/1343055521300608/?fs=e&s=TIeQ9V&fs=e&mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e
A Travel Nightmare
Just sharing a story... My flight was supposed to depart at 6:30 last night and it got delayed, and delayed, and delayed... Ended up departing closer to midnight. I had my 5 year old traveling with me. By time I got to my destination it was close to 2AM, my child was sleeping so I had to carry him off the plane. It was so late that all the rental car companies were already CLOSED. I did not have a child seat with me because I was planning to rent one with the rental car we reserved. Now this means I was NOT able to get to my hotel and the choice was spend the night at the airport OR get a ride to a hotel, and pay out of pocking for a night at a hotel. Keep in mind my kid is still asleep on top of me... I tried to ask around if there was a Taxi service, and nothing available at 2AM... they told me to call UBER and I got lucky the uber driver didn't complain about my kid being asleep and us not having a car seat. I had to pay $200 out of pocket to get a hotel room for the remainder of the night... Now I am going to try to FIGHT back with UNITED airlines about all the delays because it was related to an airline problem and all they gave us was $15 in snacks on the plane... ugh.
