What is Skool and Why?
🌟 What is Skool? And why is Tri-Loco moving there? 🌟 Skool is an all-in-one member driven platform built for communities like ours. It combines everything we need—community, courses, and calendar—into one simple hub. No more scattered apps or missed updates. Here’s what you’ll find inside: 🏊‍♂️ Community Feed – Share wins, ask questions, and connect with other athletes 📚 Classroom – Access courses and resources designed for every level of triathlete 📅 Calendar – Group workouts, live calls, and events, all in one place But here’s where it gets really cool… ✨ Points & Levels: Every time you post, comment, or get “likes,” you earn points. These points move you up levels in the community. Higher levels unlock bonus content, advanced resources, and special opportunities. ✨ Why it matters: The more active and engaged our community is, the stronger it becomes. Skool rewards participation—it’s not just about consuming content, it’s about building something together. The more we interact, the more everyone benefits. ✨ Our goal: To create the most supportive, inclusive, and growth-focused triathlon community online. Whether you’re training for your first sprint or your 10th Ironman, you’ll have a team behind you every step of the way. This isn’t just a platform—it’s a chance to take Tri-Loco to the next level. 🚴‍♂️🏊‍♀️🏃‍♂️

24 hour cycling challenge
24 Cycling Challenge recap Another year, another lesson. First, thank you to everyone who donated to support the Hero’s Foundation and the fight against cancer. We came up just short of our $7,500 goal—about $750 to go. I’ll leave the fundraising page open@ for one more week in hopes we can cross the finish line together. I also want to thank two incredible friends, Damian Garrison and Robby Zoderer, who were there to lend a shoulder when I needed it most. Your support meant more than you know. To my family—Sherry, Sam, Joe, Charlie, Teagan, Piper, Elio, Chase, Luca, Margo, and Baby Fazzini arriving September 26—you are the fuel that keeps my fire burning. My race report is short for now because I believe we learn by doing. Hours 1–12: Everything went according to plan. It was hot—around 90 degrees—but I’ve always responded well to the heat. My nutrition stayed on track with water and sea salt in my bottles, and yes… SPF 50 sunscreen did its job. Hours 13–24: That’s when things changed. The wheels became unsteady again. I remembered something Josh DeJong once told me: “You out-rode your fitness level for the event.” Looking back, he was right. Taking in calories became increasingly difficult, and even the sea salt that had worked so well early on no longer tasted good or seemed effective. When it was over, my Garmin showed 205 miles. My goal was 300. I finished 7th overall. Did I accomplish everything I set out to do? No. Did I learn? Absolutely. Every race teaches us something. Every setback reveals another opportunity to grow. We race. We train. We practice discipline. We remain consistent. And then we come back stronger. Most importantly, I thank God for giving me the strength, the health, and the opportunity to do what I love. Every mile is a blessing, and every challenge is another chance to grow. The journey continues
