You Don’t Need Someone Else to Give You Closure
Sometimes we wait for closure to come from the other person. A conversation. An explanation. An apology. Something that finally makes it all make sense. But closure doesn’t always arrive that way. Sometimes it’s recognizing what the experience showed you, accepting what you may never fully understand, and deciding you don’t need another person’s answer to keep moving forward. Are You in Soulful Union?
We’re stepping into Soulful Union: the season rooted in the Aries–Libra polarity of self and other. This season explores who we are in connection. How do I stay connected to myself while making room for another person? What do my relationships reveal about me? Where do I give too much, protect myself, hold back, or lose touch with what I need? 3 signs you may be in a Soulful Union season: • A relationship is mirroring something back to you that’s hard to ignore. • You’re becoming more aware of where you overgive, hold back, or adjust yourself in connection. • You’re learning that being close to someone doesn’t have to mean losing yourself. This can show up through romantic relationships, friendships, family, endings, new connections, or even through the relationship you have with yourself. I also want to keep this post open as our Soulful Union check-in space. Sacred Bridge — Message #84
This message made me think about the roles we take on and then keep playing, even when they don’t really fit anymore. Maybe you’ve always been the responsible one. The one who figures it out. The one who keeps everything moving. But are you still that person because you want to be, or because everyone is used to you being that person? I pulled the Three of Pentacles with this message, which brought in collaboration. Maybe you don’t have to do everything yourself anymore. Maybe there are people who can meet you halfway, help, contribute, or simply take on their part. So I’ll leave you with this: What role are you ready to outgrow?
