Welcome to Walk It Off. Here’s how this works.
1. Introduce yourself below this post. One line: what you're rebuilding. A routine, a career, your health, your confidence. Doesn't need to be pretty. Naming it is the first move. 2. Take the walk. Twenty minutes, today, before the day gets loud. Bring your phone; I always do. Use it the way I use mine: talk your ideas out, dictate what's on your mind, ask AI a better question than you asked yesterday. Just don't scroll. The walk is for thinking, not consuming. 3. Find today’s post and make today’s move. Every weekday I post one thing from the walk and one small move. Monday through Friday. Weekends are yours; the walk still happens. Do the move. Comment “done” when it’s done. That comment matters more than you think. It’s you, keeping a promise to yourself, in public. It's commitment. That's it. Simple. Not easy. You don't need more motivation. You need a system. This is it.

From the Walk: Friday
The count doesn't flatter you and it doesn't shame you. It just tells the truth. Today's move: Comment two numbers: days walked, moves finished. Then add one true sentence about your week, good or bad. No posts Saturday or Sunday. The feed rests. The walk doesn't. See you Monday.

From the Walk: Thursday
You don't rise to the morning you want. You fall to the night before. Today's move: Set up tomorrow tonight: shoes out, one priority written down, walk time locked in. One thing I have added to my morning routine the last few weeks is: I now get up around 5AM and sit out back with two of my dogs and drink my coffee in the silence, dark, and calm. It allows me to reflect before I start the day, the calm before the storm. I don't scroll social media, it is just time for me to be patient with myself and my mind - morning meditation Comment the time you picked.

From the Walk: Wednesday
Sorry, I missed Tuesday. We all have an off day. It's okay to embrace and accept that. Today's move: Take ten minutes today and let a new tool teach you something about your actual problem. Ask it a real question, not a curiosity. Comment one thing you learned.

From the Walk: Monday
A streak you broke isn't evidence against you. It's just a number that stopped. Day one again beats day none. Today's move: If you fell off, start again today, no speech required. If you didn't, say what kept you on. Comment “day one” or your streak number.
