We’ve all seen it happen—or perhaps caught a subtle whisper of it within our own experience. Someone attends an intense retreat, experiences a sudden energetic opening, or receives a vivid psychic vision, and returns to daily life announcing they are "chosen." They talk about their "special downloads," adopt a new spiritual identity, and declare a divine mission to "save humanity". When someone wraps themselves in the identity of the enlightened one, they are often selling the exact same narcissism as someone showing off luxury cars, status, and money—just dressed up in a spiritual costume. In my study groups, we encounter this threshold constantly. When high-frequency consciousness opens up intuitive experience, it acts as an amplifier. If that spiritual opening is not matched by deep psychological grounding and emotional maturity, it leads directly to spiritual inflation—or at its extreme, a state of spiritual psychosis. True consciousness and psychic tool development is not about becoming a superhero. It is about building the psychological container strength required to sit neutrally in your own body and see your reality clearly without needing to be "special” to anyone. 🏺 For anyone considering the retreat next May; I bought my flights today and they were less than $600 each way on American Airline (direct, ORD to ATH) - yours will vary based on your distance, but seems like a good time to lock in those cheap flights! 🥇 Pro tip - I sometimes buy a flight cheap and make sure to get the "refund to flight credit" option, so if I want to change it later, or cancel it, I just have money to put to something else in the future.... so even if you're undecided, might be worth it to get cheap flights now and decide later!
