And somewhere along the way, I realized why so many people run from it. They hear SALES and picture pressure. The pushy salesperson. The awkward pitch. The person who won’t take no for an answer. 😂 So entrepreneurs learn their craft. Earn certifications. Buy software. Build AI agents, automations, etc...and rinse & repeat until they end up in an infinite "equipment" loop. Then comes the question nobody can escape: Where are the clients? Here’s the part of this story I haven't really told. Last November, this didn't start with an academy. It started with a one-on-one conversation with @Leslie Barreto She had questions about sales. During our 2 hour call, we started coaching through conversations, listening, positioning, asking better questions and understanding what people actually need. She went out and closed her first six-figure client. #goBIGLes And while I was serving one person, I started wondering; are there more Leslies out there? Talented entrepreneurs who know their craft but need help developing their sales muscle? People who are coachable and eager to learn the nuances of sales without becoming somebody they're not. That question planted a seed. Eventually, that seed became the AI SALES ACADEMY. Leslie affectionately calls me her “sales coach.” I'll take it. 😂 But Leslie, thank YOU. Because of your inquiry, other entrepreneurs are now learning to communicate their value, have better conversations and close with confidence. And that's why I champion this profession. Sales, done well, is an act of service. You listen. You ask better questions. You discover what somebody actually needs. Then you help them make a decision that can improve their business or their life. That's sales. And it matters even more in this AI revolution. Because knowing how to build something and knowing how to find the person who needs it are two very different skills.
