Everybody warns you about hate comments. Nobody warns you about the nice ones. One hate comment can drown out a thousand good ones, and it sticks out louder than it should, that part everybody already knows. But the nice ones sneak up on you too. Too much praise gasses you up and makes you a little less self aware. You stop checking yourself, and before you know it you're sitting in an echo chamber where everybody around you is just telling you you're good, and you've lost touch with what's actually real. The fix is balance, not more of either one. Let positive feedback push you forward. Let real criticism come from people who actually matter. And here's the part that changes everything... people who don't know you, who haven't invested in you, don't get to carry that much weight. Their opinion doesn't earn that much space in your head. But someone who actually cares about you moving forward, that criticism is worth more than any comment section, good or bad. Which one messes with your head more, the hate or the praise?👀👀👀
