's post reminding us to Slow Down inspired me to share an original short poem I wrote a little while back. Our experiences, our past, and our traumas do not have to own our life. There are many seasons of my life I was shook to the core. When we look at our lives as a whole, many of yesterday's troubles soon seem to appear insignificant. And yet somehow, each chapter, each season, and every lesson brought us to where we are today.... And even if we're not where we would like to be in this chapter, if we look carefully, we can begin to notice how every moment gives us opportunity for growth, transformation, and expansion.
Life is a series of moments
Each expansion and contraction
Each blessing
Each hardship
Are opportunities to grow stronger, wiser, and become more resilient
There may be moments that bring you to your knees
Look up, because you’re never alone
And like the sturdy roots of a tree, we can remain grounded, yet flexible with the changing seasons and elements.
Keep going! 😉
Yes You Can,
