God of wine.
God of ecstasy.
God of intoxication.
Son of Zeus
and a mortal woman.
He never fully belonged anywhere.
That is why he was free.
Dionysus does not move through the mind.
He moves through experience.
Through the body.
Through feeling.
Through pleasure.
His gift is ecstasy.
His shadow is escape.
Because a man who lives only for pleasure
can lose himself.
But when he finds an anchor,
art is born.
Depth.
Magnetism.
Dionysus is experience.
But even experience needs a shore.
