Morning Coffee w/ Liam Resumed!
So, let's explain... Julie has resumed her career as a dog groomer after 3 months from her leg injury. Her schedule precludes her from participating in the Saturday Morning Coffee sessions, so we thought perhaps the best schedule in order for to meet general demands of most people we would do a Sunday Reflection session on Sunday nights... Unfortunately, as we discovered last Sunday, we're pretty wiped out at that point and looking to spend time quietly reflecting on our past week and the events of the weekend. This is especially true for me since being a shift worker currently has my circadian rhythm a little messed up (among other health issues I'm currently working to address). So, after much reflection and a lot of prayer, a lot of things became clear to me over the last 24 hours or so and one is that Saturday mornings are really best for the group. This is when I have the most energy and am most prepared to have the discussion. Unfortunately that means Julie won't be able to attend, but she agrees this is best. We will resume the normal time of 10am EST (7am PDT) each Saturday morning. Please try to make these as I will be amping up the discussions and even going over some of the Stage 1 lessons in more detail. While I'm waiting on the group to be discovered, some of these sessions can run upwards of 2 hours in order to cover all of it. But for those with busy schedules, rest assured that as the community grows I will make my best efforts to keep the time to right around an hour. The format for this discussion will be as follows: first 5-10 minutes will discuss events of the past week and updates for future content; 15-30 minutes discussing a specific subject; 15-30 minutes of member Q&A and finally a 5-10 minute gratitude session (nothing too fru-fru I promise, just a chance for everyone attending to practice a little gratitude which is a staple of a peaceful lifestyle). Thank you for your patience while we figured this all out. And I really can't wait to see some faces join me for the next meeting.

Welcome to Your New Story! Please Introduce Yourself
I am genuinely thrilled that you are here. You might call this a journey of self-discovery, but around here, we view it more as a journey of uncovering. We aren't here to add more noise, rigid dogmas, or new things to your life. We are here to work together to strip away the outside influence, the expectations, and the ego so we can finally hear what our souls actually need. If you are exhausted by the "drift," feeling hollow, or just wanting to step out of the outer darkness and sit by the fire for a while, you are among like-minded friends. I'm not a guru, and I don't have all the answers. I am just a fellow traveler, and we are all figuring this out together. To get started, please reply to this post and introduce yourself. Tell us where you are joining us from and what brought you to the community today. You don't have to unpack your whole life story or figure everything out today. If you are wrestling with heavy questions, just pull up a chair, catch your breath, and read through the conversations. We are here for you whenever you are ready. No pressure, no timelines. Just remember our community rule: Drop the ego, keep it real. We don't want to see your polished resume, your job title, or a list of your worldly achievements. We just want the real you. Take a deep breath, leave the noise at the door, and say hello. I can't wait to meet you, and I can't wait to start writing our new stories together.

My OLD Story
I'm Liam, your host. Since I was young I was always philosophical by nature, and for most of that youth also very spiritual. I also felt a real calling to help others, and this is the final realization of that attempt. The truth is, after high school I floated aimlessly through my life. It wasn't until I was 30 that I found something I was good at which was the electrical trade. However, just being good at something doesn't necessarily mean it's fulfilling, and for me this couldn't have been more true. When all the puzzles started getting easier, the dopamine stopped and the pressures of doing something unfulfilling started getting a bit much. I turned to alcohol. I got divorced. Then one day I woke up and told myself "I can't do this anymore." I cashed out my 401k and quit my job in hopes that I would just stumble on something more meaningful. I tried trading futures. I wanted to develop several businesses. I started a podcast (which I'm still trying to do). And somewhere in that journey I returned to faith. But my faith has never been, in my opinion, categorized. But regardless, it's through faith that I think that all answers can be found. And that's my hope is to teach what I've learned and hopefully learn much more along the way. It is my strong belief that the core meaning to all life is growth and experience, so I'm confident that together we can all heal those wounds, find and live our purpose. There's far more to my story than that. To learn the rest of the story, feel free to check it out on my podcast website here

Sat Morning Coffee is Now Sunday Reflection
Starting immediately we will be moving the Morning Coffee sessions from Saturdays at 10am EST and renaming them to Sunday Reflection to be held on Sundays at 8PM EST (5 PST). At the time of this post it's just Julie and I on these calls, and as her schedule is changing it makes perfect sense for us to change it to this time. Much thought went into what time would be best, and we're trying very hard to be accommodating to any future members as we feel this live call is a resource that shouldn't be passed up. A weekly wisdom moment taken from personal experience followed by an open forum for questions on content, sharing of personal wisdom and testimony of experiences. We end each session with a bit of gratitude (we'll pick a couple of people at random to share something special they're grateful for) to round out our weeks and hopefully send us into the next week feeling grounded and ready for abundance. Please check the community calendar for all such events as I will occasionally host special sessions from time to time to get into real detail on some of the work we do within this group. I'm very excited to see you all there. The Hospital Bed Parable
Welcome to the action thread for Module 4, Lesson 4. 🔒 First, our non-negotiable boundary: Your raw physical struggles, specific medical histories, and highly sensitive business or family secrets belong entirely in your analog paper notebook. We do not want you posting detailed medical accounts or private struggles on a public feed. Keep this space clean, safe, and focused on shared reflection. 🛠️ Today, we are looking at the night the wheels finally fall off. We spend decades building a "Fortress of Competence," believing we are the only load-bearing beam keeping the entire roof from collapsing. But when your neck locks up in the dead of night and you find yourself stuck in a cold ER room, you realize a brutal, liberating truth: the job site doesn't close, the company doesn't go under, and the world keeps spinning without you. Once you have completed the Indispensability Audit in your private notebook, let your co-travelers know you are stepping off the pedestal. (Keep your signal safe and high-level. Generalize your symptoms or operational worries into safe categories like "stepping back from daily tasks" or "letting others handle a problem" to participate cleanly). 📝 Drop a comment below using this exact template: #HospitalBed: [Pedestal / Stepping Down] - [One-sentence realization of what will actually happen if you pull over and let the truck idle] 💡 Example: #HospitalBed: Stepping Down - Realized that if I got laid up tomorrow, my business partner would handle the client calls just fine, and my belief that I'm the only one who can do it is just my ego wanting control. 💡 Example: #HospitalBed: Pedestal - Recognizing that my family won't fall apart if I stop playing the perfect fixer who never shows exhaustion. 🛑 THE PROTOCOL RECORD 🚫 Zero Unsolicited Advice: We do not offer fixes, strategic plans, or medical advice to other co-travelers' audits. We are not here to repair each other. 🚫 Zero Toxic Positivity: No empty "you've got this" encouragement or performance validation.
