Welcome Everyone
Hey everyone 👋 I'm Adil, based in Toronto, and I run the YouTube channel Raspberry Pi Made Easy. I made one video that kept getting views year after year. That's how all of this started , and it's the whole idea behind this community. That video wasn't better than my others. It was just the one I'd named after something people were actually typing into YouTube. Everything here comes from working out how to do that on purpose. I'm excited about: 🔹 Finding what people are already searching for, before you film 🔹 Helping people get found without ever being on camera 🔹 Sharing what I learned going from 0 → 1.2M+ views on a faceless channel, most of it from search When I'm not tinkering with tech, you'll probably find me: 📹 Creating content 📚 Reading a good book ⚽ Playing soccer If you've got a channel, drop it in the comments , I'll try to tell you what I think your best video is doing right.

Welcome. This community is about one thing: getting found on YouTube through search, instead of waiting to go viral. No hooks, no viral lottery, camera optional. 𝗗𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁. → Your First 10 Minutes Take one video idea you're actually considering. Run it through the check. Come out with a yes or a no. Ten minutes, and it changes what you film next. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 → Rank Check — the keyword, what page one looks like, what you decided. I'll tell you what I'd do with it. That post is also your introduction — much better than "hi, I'm new," because I can actually respond to it. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 → The Search System — the five steps, about 40 minutes. Read Lesson 1 and stop there if that's all you've got today. → Ranked Teardowns — five of my videos pulled apart with the real numbers, 170K down to 7,500. Including one from a niche that has nothing to do with my channel. → The ToolKit — the five tools I actually use. That's the whole method. It is not a teaser for anything. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 Rank Check — a title you're about to commit a weekend to Wins — when something works Help — you're stuck and it's blocking you Peer Support — everything else Premium, when you want it faster: Find Ideas Fast, Never Run Out of Ideas, and the weekly live where I check your idea on the call. Check 7 video ideas in 7 days (before you film any of them)
Here's something that happens a lot. You get an idea. You film it. You edit it. You upload it. And then almost nobody watches. The video wasn't bad. Nobody was looking for it. There's a way to find that out before you make it, and it takes about ten minutes. You type your idea into YouTube. You read the top five videos properly. You ask three things: is anyone smaller than me up there, are these results old or badly named, and do they actually answer the question? Then you decide. Make it, or skip it. Skipping is a win too. You just saved yourself a weekend. So let's do it seven times. One idea a day, for seven days. Ten minutes each. You post what you found in the thread, and I'll tell you what I would have done with it. By Sunday you'll have seven ideas you actually checked, at least one worth filming, and a title written for it. That's your next month of videos decided by what people are searching for not by what felt like a good idea on a Tuesday. Never done this before? Good. Lesson 2 in Start Here shows you how, with two examples. It takes ten minutes to read. Want in? Comment 𝗜'𝗠 𝗜𝗡 below and I'll DM you the daily format right away.

Find Your Next Video live, this Thursday
Do you pick what to film by guessing ? After do you spend a weekend on it just to find out ? This is the other way round. Bring one video idea you're thinking about. On the call I'll show you how to check it properly, is anyone actually searching for this, who would you be up against, and is there a gap you could get into. It takes about ten minutes per idea once you know what you're looking at. I'll be using a tool to do it fast, and I'll run a full live example on a niche in my space Home Assistant so you can see the whole thing start to finish on a real topic. What you'll leave with: a yes or no on your idea, and the reason behind it. Comment your idea below and I'll pick a few to run live on the call. Open to everyone for the first two sessions. After that it moves into Premium, so if you've been meaning to sit in on one, these are the two.

Google sent this video 5x more views than YouTube's algorithm did
This one's about AI design animation. My channel is about Raspberry Pi. 7,529 views since May. Here's where they came from. YouTube search: 45.6%. External: 40.4% and 83% of that is Google. So about a third of the total came from Google, not YouTube. Browse features, the home page, the algorithm deciding to push you gave 5.7%. What this teaches ? A video named after what people type works on multiple search engines, not just one. You may never have opened the External report and might be unaware that Google and other platforms are sending you anything at all. And you don't need the algorithm to pick you. It barely touched this one. I've pulled this video and four others apart properly in Ranked: Teardowns free, in the classroom. If you are running a Channel go check your own External number: Studio → Analytics → Reach → Traffic sources. What did you get?
