DAY 10 — SEEK HIM FIRST Verse: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33 KJV Devotion Walking with God means learning to seek Him before seeking answers. Sometimes we become so focused on what we need from God that we forget the greatest gift He’s given us: Himself. We seek the breakthrough. The opportunity. The provision. The relationship. The answer. But Jesus teaches us to seek God first. Before chasing what you need, pursue the One who knows exactly what you need. Intimacy says: “God, even before You change my situation, I want You.” And when God becomes our priority, everything else begins to find its proper place. Reflection Have I been seeking God’s hand more than I’ve been seeking His heart? If God didn’t change my situation today, would I still desire to spend time with Him? Today, make this your prayer: “Father, before I seek what You can give me, teach me to seek You.”
