NY Session Reflection — Patience, Adaptation, and Letting the Rules Do Their Job Today was a great example of why I’m continuing to put more emphasis on process over prediction. Coming into New York, both the 4H and 1H trends were bearish, so naturally the early expectation leaned toward the short side. But the market didn’t give us a clean, static setup. Throughout the morning, the POIs, 1:1 levels, and RewardCaps kept shifting. There were several moments where a trade looked close—but the numbers simply didn’t fit. And that was probably the most important part of the session. When the 1:1 was outside the RewardCap, there was no trade. When the RewardCap expanded and made a setup legal again, we recalculated. When the market produced what looked like a false move to the downside and then gave us a 5-minute close above the 15-minute ORB, we adapted instead of staying married to the original bearish idea. The final setup was bullish: ORB Override + CAB + TMT 1:1 = Forced C The final numbers were: - 5m POI: 84.75 points - Plan E with buffer: 104.75 points - TMT 1:1 target: 59.6 points - RewardCap: 66.5 points - Risk classification: Forced C / 11% Eval - Both 4th-standard-deviation checks: not exceeded The important thing was that the 59.6-point 1:1 finally sat inside the 66.5-point RewardCap. That gave us a legal setup. The ORB override didn’t give us permission to ignore risk parameters—it still had to fit inside the framework. The trade worked. My reported realized move was approximately +60.25 points, and the simulation produced the same result. More importantly, there was no need to hunt for another trade afterward. One opportunity, one win, session finished. There was also a useful execution lesson today. The setup changed multiple times before entry, which meant the sizing had to be recalculated repeatedly. That reinforced something I want to continue improving: have the book validated, the workflow ready, and the sizing process as streamlined as possible before the execution window arrives.

🏆 Asia Session Recap — 1 Trade, 1 Win | +$1,540 TPT Closed out Tuesday’s Asia session with one clean execution across my 5 Take Profit Trader evaluation accounts. The higher-timeframe environment was bearish on both the 1H and 15m, which naturally graded the setup A+. However, I executed the TMT 1:1 path, so the sizing rules automatically downgraded the executable grade to Forced C at 11% risk. 📊 The Setup - Session: Asia - Friend Zone: Yes — map only - 1m / 5m / 15m POIs: 25 points - Plan E: 35 points after the +10 Asia buffer - TMT 1:1: 25 points - TMT Range: 46.75 points - Chosen RewardCap: 50 points - Position size: 7 MNQ per account - Accounts traded: 5 TPT evaluations - Total position: 35 MNQ 🎯 Execution Entry: 29922.75 Exit: 29945.50 Price move captured:+22.75 points Each account finished the trade at +$308, bringing the combined result to: 💰 +$1,540 total realized P/L Each TPT account is now sitting at $150,563 equity. 🧠 Biggest Takeaway The important part of this trade wasn’t maximizing size. It was respecting the framework. Even though the trend alignment naturally produced an A+, taking the TMT 1:1 meant accepting Forced-C sizing rather than treating it like a fresh A+ risk allocation. That kept the plan at 7 MNQ per account, with a 35-point Plan E and $490 planned stop risk against a $495 maximum allowance. The grade tells me the environment. The path determines what I’m actually allowed to risk. ✅ Final Numbers 5 TPT evals 1 trade 1 win 35 MNQ total +$308/account +$1,540 total P/L Ending equity: $150,563/account Good session. One opportunity was enough.

I initially came into the sequence looking at the bearish side. The higher-timeframe trends supported it, but once I worked through the actual structure and reward caps, there wasn’t a legal bearish trade to take. So instead of forcing the original bias, I parked it and started working through the bullish side. The bullish setup was against both the 4H and 1H trends, so this was a C-quality setup, not something I was going to pretend was an A+ just because it eventually worked. The important numbers were: - Bullish 5m 2nd-stdev RewardCap: 124.75 pts - TMT 1:1: approximately 66–70 pts - TMT Range: 202.25 pts - Range was outside the RewardCap, so it was off the table. - The TMT 1:1 was the legal path, which meant Forced-C risk. Where things got interesting was the execution. I was a little slow getting the sizing workflow completed and getting the Junior MNQ Sizing Bot table set up. While I was doing that, the market was moving. By the time I was ready to execute, my entry wasn't the entry I originally wanted. That delay changed more than just my entry price. It changed the stop geometry, which changed my available size, which changed how much of the move I could realistically capture. What I actually did My live sizing ended up at: 1 MNQ per TPT account × 5 accounts I ultimately took approximately +45 points, which worked out to: +$90/account +$450 total So yes — green day. ✅ But simply writing "+$450" in the journal would miss the biggest lesson from the session.
