There. I've said it.😬 Well, obviously SOMEONE cares. You care enormously because you've spent three days putting the bloody thing together. But when I'm deciding whether to give you an hour of my life, I'm not particularly excited to discover that we'll start with a welcome, move into three teaching points, have a breakout session and finish with Q&A. What I really want to know is... 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀? If I'm going to leave knowing how to get more people to my events, tell me THAT. If I'm finally going to understand the thing I've been struggling with for six months, tell me THAT. If you're going to help me create something during the session that I can actually use afterwards... for goodness' sake, lead with THAT. We get terribly excited about telling people what's IN our events and sometimes completely forget to tell them why they should give a toss. Your agenda tells me what you're doing. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲. That's the bit I'd put front and centre. It's something Des and I bang on about rather a lot inside Skool Events Daily because getting your event seen is only half the job. Once somebody sees it, you've still got to make them WANT to come. If you run events — or you're thinking about starting — come and have a nose around: https://www.skool.com/skoolevents/about Right, I'll get off my soapbox now. The dog needs it back.
