It's Wednesday and Substack just rolled out a new feature - feels like something new pops up almost every week right? Substack just rolled out Creator Match, and I had to smile because this is something we’ve been doing in this community all along. 💜 Creator Match looks for publishers with similar audience sizes and overlapping interests, then shows you potential collaboration partners inside your publisher dashboard. Here’s how to use it: 1. Go to your Publisher Dashboard → Creator Match. 2. Look through the people Substack has suggested for you. 3. Pay attention to the shared audience and the potential new audience on both sides. 4. Click through and actually read their work before reaching out. 5. If there’s a genuine fit, start a conversation. Think beyond “recommend me.” You could buddy up for a Substack Live, interview each other, collaborate on a post, share one another’s work, or simply begin building the relationship. And remember: the platform can make the match, but community turns the match into a relationship. That’s one of the reasons this group is such a valuable resource. We’ve been introducing people, encouraging collaborations, and getting members to buddy up for Lives all along. 👉 Go check your Creator Matches today. If you find someone interesting, tell us about it in the thread - and you may even find your next collaboration partner right here. 💜🐮🦒🧩🐥🧩🦒🐮💜 Today is the Weekly Q&A/Social Hour at 1pm mtn here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82141442688?pwd=xJ9W2bYfTXnBptWKuoOgEH4P2enq6p.1 stop by for the hour or 5 minutes love it's a great space to meet and network with community members. Tomorrow in the Monetize Your Mission Mastermind - that will be at 2pm mtn with Lidia Axe from the Community Builders HQ on Skool join us to talk about getting your first 100 members here on Skool.

@Alice Hlidkova messaged me this morning asking some questions about framework for creating posts - I found it synchronous as I was JUST looking at emails from best sellers over on Substack and considering HOW they put their posts together. Don't you love when the Universe sends you messages like that? Confirmation to keep looking in that direction... And one thing is already becoming very clear: A post that converts isn’t just a well-written post. It’s a piece of the client journey. Before you worry about hooks, headlines, CTAs, or whether your post is “good enough,” ask: Where is this reader right now - and where do I want to help them go next? The strongest posts I’m looking at aren’t simply dumping information. They create movement. They help the reader recognize themselves in a problem or desire. They create a shift in how the reader sees that problem. They give the reader a reason to trust the person writing. And then they offer a logical next step. That next step might be subscribing. It might be commenting. It might be downloading something. It might be becoming a paid subscriber. It might be working with you. But the invitation makes sense because the POST has already helped move the reader toward it. That’s the piece I think we miss when we start with: “What should I write about today?” A better question might be: “What does my reader need to see, understand, believe, or do next?” Then write the post that helps them get there. I’m going to keep digging into these best-seller emails and pulling apart what they’re doing because I think there’s a really useful framework emerging here. I'll bring more as I get it and it will probably be a mastermind or even a standalone workshop - I'm leaning toward the workshop Going through the 9 Day Challenge will help you build a firm foundation - Start here #Welcome to the 9-Day Substack Momentum Challenge!

What a wonderful weekend around here. Can you believe summer is almost officially over on this side of the world? And then will begin my very favorite season - FALL I like to think of fall as the season where everything falls into place. On that note - a couple things ARE falling into place around here. The first up is that I created a 9-Day Momentum Challenge IN THE CLASSROOM - #Welcome to the 9-Day Substack Momentum Challenge! 9 days to go from idea to implementation! Using what I put together in the Momentum Challenge lead to... the second thing I've got cooking is an experiment over on Substack itself - I should have the rest of it setup later this morning and will start sharing notes from there. This account is an experiment about selling real/physical as well as digital products on Substack using the perks page and will be organized as a discount club. The name is Hobo Homesteading and will be about, yeah, homesteading. 🎉🎷🎸🪨🥎🪨🎸🎷🎉 Happening Around Here This Week... Wednesday is the weekly Q&A/Social Hour at 1pm mtn - come join us for 5 minutes or the whole hour - we are very casual and there is usually a whole lotta laughing going on. Thursday is the Monetize Your Mission Mastermind and Lidia Axe from the Community Builders HQ is coming to share with us strategies for finding your first 100 members for your Skool community. We start at 2pm mtn and this is open to anyone not just those in this community - If you know friends who are thinking about starting a Skool community bring them along - the more the merrier. Feel free to share this link https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82173053137?pwd=LvWmj0jftv7dmZv7xB0lKcaarU1YHs.1&jst=2 it is not gated in any way just show up at the appointment time and join in.

#90 DAY SUBSTACK CHALLENGE
This is the first assignment, so here goes: My name is Gwynne Conlyn I have two Substacks: - Five Weddings and a Funeral (about my journey. I aim to entertaining, as well as help/educate women who are either going through the trials & tribulations of marriage, divorce and/or separation). - A Taste of Deceit. (I'm an award winning lifestyle journalist, author and publisher. This is my first journey into writing fiction - it's a foodie romance mystery. I will post a chapter at a time on my Substack). What I hope to accomplish during the challenge? To understand the in's & out's of Substack, how it works technically, how to get paid subscribers. https://fiveweddingsandafuneral.substack.com/ https://atasteofdeceit.substack.com/
